FAQ

Q: How tough is this hike going to be?"

A: Our hike for the day is rated as easy and will cover 2.3 miles. Participants should be of average or above health. The trail features moderate steep hills and declines. There is a 0.1 miles section of soft and muddy terrain as we will be hiking along the Black River.

Q: What kind of camera should I bring?"

A: This particular event is for photographers who own DSLR Cameras with Auto Focus / Manual focus.

Q: What other equipment will I need?"

A: You will need a full size tripod. The tripod will give you better quality images and will be necessary during Long Exposure Photography. Bring along an extra battery to make sure your trip doesn't go downhill halfway through the day.

Q: What about if I don't own a Tripod?"

A: We have tripods available for rent. The rental fee is $10.

Q: What if it rains, will my camera melt?"

A: Your camera is stronger than the Wicked Witch of the West. We will provide protective gear in case of light rain and will continue with the trip. In case of severe weather we will communicate before hand and reschedule the event if necessary.

Q: Can I drive myself?"

A: You're more than welcome to drive yourself. Get in touch with us and we'll work with you to arrange the details. Please be aware that drivers will not be eligible for the beer tasting.

Q: Are you going to feed me, will I go hungry?"

A: We'll have a filling lunch for you to chow down on at the brewery. We recommend bringing some trails snacks for the hike to hold yourself over. Please let us know ahead of time if you have any dietary restrictions and we'll be happy to accommodate.
